Swiss-certified watchmaker, Sean Paul Yoshinaga, established The Village
Watchmaker in 2004. He started his career in watchmaking repairing and restoring
watches and clocks from estate sales and antique shows. Two years later, he started
a small business from his home and completed repairs for a local antique store.
Another two years later, Sean opened The Village Watchmaker in downtown
Los Gatos, California where a local watchmaker (Kaz Iwasaki) had retired in 2004.
This transition provided Sean with the opportunity to continue to provide watch and
clock repair to the community. Shortly thereafter, Sean traveled to
Grenchen, Switzerland where he received his certification training. After returning
from Switzerland, Sean began creating a line of custom watches known as the
S.Paul Watch Company.

Repair, restoration, and service for all types of watches and clocks is guaranteed and
completed on the premises by Sean Paul Yoshinaga. House calls can also be
arranged. If a timepiece requires extensive factory work, notification will be given
prior to shipment. All timepieces are shipped UPS 2nd day air and are insured for
the full replacement value. The Village Watchmaker also carries a variety of new
and vintage watches and clocks for purchase.  Sean takes pride in providing his
customers with “timepiece education” to extend their knowledge about the inner
workings or historical background related to their watch or clock.
He has an extensive collection of books, and customers are
always welcome to explore his library.
