| Swiss-certified watchmaker, Sean Paul Yoshinaga, established The Village Watchmaker in 2004. He started his career in watchmaking repairing and restoring watches and clocks from estate sales and antique shows. Two years later, he started a small business from his home and completed repairs for a local antique store. Another two years later, Sean opened The Village Watchmaker in downtown Los Gatos, California where a local watchmaker (Kaz Iwasaki) had retired in 2004. This transition provided Sean with the opportunity to continue to provide watch and clock repair to the community. Shortly thereafter, Sean traveled to Grenchen, Switzerland where he received his certification training. After returning from Switzerland, Sean began creating a line of custom watches known as the S.Paul Watch Company. Repair, restoration, and service for all types of watches and clocks is guaranteed and completed on the premises by Sean Paul Yoshinaga. House calls can also be arranged.
